Themes and
style:
The " statement " of Guillermo Mora gets its meaning of a single line: " Add, subtract , multiply and divide ." Mora has given rise to one of the richest and most interesting generations of Spanish pictorical productions. In fact, to that short list of verbs , we should add another : " Recycle ". For the artistic action, Mora has drawn much of the rest or the remains; A selfless work based on providing a second chance to discarded works and tools building, more or less haphazardly , new objects with artistic autonomy and recognizable entity.
Techniques:
His work is developed in different
materials and shapes. Uses recycling.

This dialogue is fine but a decision is
always an alone act. Concepts are never perfect, complete or exhausted. I want
to make that fleeting moment permanent somehow. “Your errors are your key”. She
made me believe in not linear projects, in parallel or secondary structures, in
error and failure as a starting point. Sorry I've just realized I’m thinking
about a different work. Noestudio, Madrid (Curated by Tiago de Abreu pinto).

In his own words:
“I see painting as a multiple tool that
lets me move between the ideal of constructing an image and a constant
metamorphosis based on different fragments.
As a personal landscape, my work produces
pieces made out of traditional painting materials that rethink and question the
process of painting in constant formation, reconstruction and recycling.
Hybrids that dislodge their origins, ever-changing paintings that act as a
means of comprehending the ephemeral conditions of the world around us.”
